Shirley Elliott

Shirley ElliottShirley Elliott has worked for the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust (TPACT) for 12 years and has been program director since 2004. Each season she presents approximately 30 performances and also serves as Festival Director for the 6-week SummerStage performing arts festival featuring local artists and organizations. As Program Director she created a scholarship program that benefits Title One elementary schools and provides the tickets and buses for approximately 1600 children to attend TPACT’s children’s programs each season. The program received an Outstanding District Partner Award from the Tulsa Metro Chamber of Commerce in 2006 for educational outreach in the Tulsa Public Schools. In addition to her duties for the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust, she also teaches Arts Management at the University of Tulsa and Humanities courses at Tulsa Community College.
